MEQUINENZA TO ALCAÑIZ
Mequinenza is a small town, home to the 79m dam which contains the 110km long Mequinenza Reservoir. The route southwest from Mequinenza towards Alcañiz is a winding scenic drive through the mountainous wine-producing region of Serra de Montsant.

MOTORLAND ARAGÓN
Motorland Aragón is a 5.3km motorsport racetrack located near Alcañiz, Spain. The circuit was designed by famous German track architect Hermann Tilke and opened in 2009. It has hosted the Renault World Series, MotoGP, and Superbike World Championship and puts on regular track days for the public.

ALCAÑIZ TO POBLET MONASTERY
Your satellite navigation system will probably recommend following the main road via the town of Reus for the fastest route from Alcañiz to the Poblet Monastery. However, a far more enjoyable drive can be found, by leaving the N-420 and heading north towards Ulldemolins, then east through the village of Vilanova de Prades before arriving at the monastery.

POBLET MONASTERY
Located at the foot of the Prades Mountains, the Royal Abbey of Santa Maria de Poblet is a Cistercian monastery, founded in 1151. The monastery fell into disrepair during the 19th century, but was refounded in 1940 and brought back to its former glory, becoming a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991.
